Die stillen Trabanten
These are quiet encounters on the outskirts of the city, far from the bright lights, where the weight of everyday life is forgotten for a moment. Night after night, the unnoticed ones return to the places they long for: snack-bar owner Jens (Albrecht Schuch) falls in love with his neighbour Aischa (Lilith Stangenberg) over a late-night cigarette in the stairwell, while security guard Erik (Charly Hübner) develops feelings for young Marika (Irina Starshenbaum) during his routine rounds at the refugee residence. After her shift, cleaning lady Christa (Martina Gedeck) also seeks comfort in the company of hairdresser Birgitt (Nastassja Kinski). Three stories, one shared wish: a spark of love, a touch of affection, and a sense of security.
