One of them is riding high, the other is full of doubts. Freelance journalist Juan Romero (Elyas M’Barek) spots inconsistencies in a cover story by award-winning reporter Lars Bogenius (Jonas Nay). But the management of the news magazine Chronik steadfastly backs its celebrated star writer and tries to brush off Romero’s hunt for the truth—the editors have invested too much in their young shooting star for any irregularities to surface. Yet Romero refuses to back down. His investigation pushes him right to the edge, until he has nothing left to lose … except his job, his reputation, and his family.
