In a world where you need an excuse not to drink, Mark (Frederick Lau) reigns supreme. He appears to juggle everything effortlessly—balancing a demanding job as site manager on a major Berlin construction project, raucous business dinners, and marathon tours of the city’s nightlife. But one night, after too many drinks, he tries to move his car, gets pulled over, and loses his license on the spot; the dreaded medical-psychological assessment (MPU) looms.
Mark bets his best friend Nadim (Burak Yiğit) that he can stay sober until he gets his license back. In the MPU course he meets Helena (Nora Tschirner), who quickly becomes his “partner in crime.” At first he’s convinced the challenge will be a cakewalk, but the wager turns into a long, rocky road—often hilarious, sometimes painfully hard. How do you let go of ingrained habits and admit you’ve got a real problem? The path back to your true self is anything but easy…
