Twenty-year-old Bex (Svenja Jung) has to fight her way through a prison rehabilitation program—a tough task for a provocative loner. Coach Ava (Jasmin Tabatabai) tries to infect Bex and the other “rehabs” with her passion for dance and whip these former solo fighters into shape for a dance battle. As Bex slowly opens up to those around her, she feels an especially strong pull toward Jay (Ben Wichert). The group’s cohesion keeps growing—until Bex is suddenly confronted by the traumatic past she thought she’d left behind.
